Remote access to the router

The Netprotection router has a local administration page that can be used to configure all local settings, like Wi-fi password, LAN, port forwards, etc. This page is not accessible from outside the LAN for security reasons.

However, from the Web Console, it is possible for a user to remotely access this configuration page, as long as the router was previously activated. This is very useful if you want to provide support from outside your network.

To access the router's administration page, one should go to the "Settings" page, select the desired router (if there is more than one activated for the same account) and click on the button "Configure the router":
